About Dr. Krista Olsen, MD
Dr. Krista Olsen was always interested in a career related to medicine but, if it weren’t for her High School biology teacher, who opened up her eyes to becoming a doctor, she would have been on a path to becoming a veterinarian. During her third year in medical school, she started working toward becoming an OB/GYN once she realized the lifelong relationships she would be able to build with a patient. She is AIUM certified for ultrasound and specializes in endocrine disorders related to OBGYN such as PCOS and infertility as well as focuses on minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Olsen joined ObGyn Specialists because, during the interview, it felt like a “family.” At OGS, there is a shared vision of the practice to provide the best quality care for patients utilizing the latest technologies in a caring, safe and compassionate manner. She believes that the family atmosphere in the office translates to the care of the patients as an extended family during their pregnancies, preventive care, and gynecological surgeries. Today, her intent to build relationships with her patients is what drives her practice.
Dr. Olsen is married with children and loves to spend time with her family and friends on the lake and traveling. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and knitting.
